Tribute: Prince Aremo

Prince Aremo

This tribute is not only to celebrate His Royal Majesty's 20th Anniversary but to

also celebrate 50th wedding Anniversary of Olori Aramide & Oba Idowu Abiodun.

They say that you don't really appreciate your parents until you become one, but

that is not true. I have appreciated you both from day one & will do forever.

There is much more to say but on this very special occasion of Dad's 20th Anniversary

on the throne of his forefathers with a heart of deepest gratitude, I give you my honor, appreciation, admiration, and love.

May God continue to bless you, and may you enjoy your celebration on April 11, and throughout this Golden Year with my mother Olori Aramide Oniru.

We love you both with all our heart,

Aremo Adesegun, Adeyinka, Siedah, Abisoye, Abisade & AAO jr

Tribute:Prince Moses Oniru

Prince Moses Oniru

Growing up as a young Oniru was quite exciting and  was really fun. Back then when the Oniru Palace was  at Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, everybody  lived together in more or less a communal setting. It  was indeed one very big family. I and all my cousins did  things together. We ate together, worked together, joked  together, studied together and played pranks together.

Almost everything we did in tandem. Kabiyesi and Uncle  (as we fondly call my uncle, the Otun Oba) were both,  fathers to us all. You could hardly know whose child was  whose among us.
Today, I remember those years with nostalgic feeling.  Thank you Kabiyesi for all your fatherly affection. Baba mi  owon, Agbalagba Oye, Eleyin Oju Anu…Kaaaaaaaabiyesi.

I, Moses Mutiu Oniru on behalf of my wife and children  today rejoice and celebrate with you our Patriarch and  Kabiyesi and indeed the entire Oniru family on the 20th  Coronation Anniversary of your ascension to the throne  of your fore-fathers. Kabiyesi, we thank you for making  us very proud. May your reign continue to foster peace,  unity and progress in Iru land Eku Odun Baba Igba Odun, Odun kan ni Long live Kabiyesi  Long live Iru land

Opesanwo

Kabiyesi, even when every day is filled with loving thoughts of you, this anniversary presents an opportunity to appreciate your love and admirable qualities.

I am filled with joy and gratitude to Allah for your life of service and humility

Your character, benevolence and the depth of your wisdom is heart-warming and inspiring.

As you celebrate 20 years on the throne of our ancestors, it is my prayer that the Grace of God, His mercies and presence, all of which are manifest in your life, will continue to abide with you and your legacies will endure. I pray that, in buoyant health, you will live to realise your vision for the family and our people.

Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Long may you live, Long may you reign.

Congratulations!
